What we do

We organise competition across Yorkshire

One of our most important roles is to allow individual Divisions to compete against each other. All the matches that take place in our Divisions are part of a larger whole. Match results are entered on this website, and because all our Divisions use the same basic rules, individual teams can be ranked against competitors from all across Yorkshire.

We run major tournaments

At the end of each season, the top teams from each Division qualify for the Yorkshire Crown tournament - a bit like soccer's European Championship. Each tournament is hosted by one of our Divisions, and the winning team is named Champions of Yorkshire, taking home the coveted Crown.

We support a county-wide network

TYBBL is the hub of a large network of Blood Bowl players in Yorkshire. We put gamers and clubs in touch with each other on our website and email lists, and using our network of local Divisions.

When a new group is launched, we help them get things organised by providing resources, publicising their existence, and connecting newbies with experienced gamers who can advise on practical issues.

We build club membership

We support Divisions in advertising their events, and our county-wide publicity attracts individual gamers too. We connect these individuals with what's going on near them and we help them to get involved with local activities.

We represent Yorkshire in the Blood Bowl world

Because we bring together all the region's major Blood Bowl groups, we can speak with one voice on the national and international stage. We build links with leagues elsewhere in Britain and further afield, sharing ideas and arranging events.
